Celebrancy · personal ceremonies

A moment that
feels like you.

Some moments ask to be acknowledged. I work with you to shape a personal ceremony around the people, stories and changes that matter to you, with room for your beliefs and your way of being.

A few places to begin

Your people.
Your way of marking it.

Possible starting points

Choosing each other

Find words and gestures that reflect your relationship, values and the people you want beside you.

Marking a new chapter

Give a significant change a form that feels personal: an arrival, an ending or a new beginning.

Remembering what matters

Make room for memory and acknowledge the stories and relationships you carry.

Begin with what the moment means to you. The shape of the ceremony follows.

Working together

Words, gestures
and room to be yourself.

  1. Talk

    Tell me about the moment.

Who matters to you? What has changed? What do you want this gathering to recognise?

  2. Shape

    Choose what feels right.

We’ll explore words, stories, gestures and setting, and agree what the ceremony involves and the fees.

  3. Create

    Give the moment a form.

Develop the ceremony together, with time to read, respond and make choices about what is shared.

Do I need to know what the ceremony looks like?

No. Start with what the moment means to you. We can explore a shape for it together, including the words, gestures and setting.

Can the ceremony reflect different beliefs?

Your beliefs, values and the people involved are part of the conversation. We can discuss how to honour them with care, and agree what can be included.

What about dates and fees?

Share any date, place or timing you already have in mind. Availability, the work involved and the fee need to be discussed and agreed before booking.
